Reigate assault leaves man with fractured cheek

A man has suffered a fractured cheek and nose following an assault in Reigate.

It happened on Church Street as the victim left the Bell pub with his partner on Tuesday 5 October around 11.40pm.

As they crossed Church Street, there were a group of males and females aged around 16 to 20 years old. The victim was pushed to the ground by one of the group, causing him to fall and hit his face on the ground. Following the assault, the suspects fled the scene.
The victim suffered a fractured cheek bone and nose, and tore a muscle in his shoulder.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
