A Climate Emergency Action Plan for Crawley has been given the green light this week. 

Crawley Borough Council’s cabinet members agreed to accelerate its Action to Zero Plan which sets out how it will reduce carbon emissions from its own operations to 45% by 2030 and zero before 2050. 

The action plan covers all council service areas including transitioning to low carbon modes of travel, and investing in renewables to support the shift from fossil fuels to clean energy.
