Schools in West Sussex will receive £47 million in extra funding next year, as part of a £4 billion funding boost from the Government across the country.
The funding per pupil is set to increase nationally by five per cent in real terms from next year.
£1 billion extra will also be spent to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.
The MP for Crawley, Henry Smith has welcomed the news that schools in West Sussex will now receive around £682 million in funding next year.
