Police are appealing for witnesses  after a vehicle’s windscreen was damaged by objects thrown onto the M25.

Officers received reports that a lorry had been struck by unknown objects thrown from the side of the motorway at around 2.40pm on Tuesday.

The incident occurred between junction 5 and 6 of the clockwise carriageway near to Clacket Lane services.

Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of this incident.
