Nine men have been arrested  after a group was seen running down a road in Redhill, carrying “a large knife”.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the police helicopter and Armed Response Officers were deployed to Ladbroke Road after 2:30pm on Tuesday.

The young men have been arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and affray.
