Levels of tree pollen, which include ash, oak, plane and birch will be high across the southeast.

Hay fever has reportedly been confused with Covid as coughing, sneezing and loss of smell are symptoms of both.

This year has seen an early start to the hay fever season due to a mild winter, but things should start to ease by the second half of next week.
