Surrey Police have joined a national campaign to tackle knife crime.

Operation Sceptre is a national week of action aimed at tackling knife possession and violent crime.

While the statistics remains low in Surrey, it continues to have a devastating impact nationally.

A series of “Knife Bins” have been placed across the county, including one in Reigate, which give people the opportunity to surrender their knives and weapons, without fear of prosecution or questions being asked.
