An interim injunction has been granted to Tandridge District Council to stop unauthorised parking at a site in Oxted. 

Last Tuesday, the High Court of Justice issued an interim injunction against Best Holdings UK Limited, to stop unauthorised airport parking on land at School Plantation in Barrow Green Road.  The interim injunction requires the activity to stop immediately. This follows the issue of a Temporary Stop Notice in April against unlawful parking at the site which was not complied with.  The defendants must not take or allow any further bookings for cars to be parked on the land or clear any woodland in preparation for development without planning permission. 

In a statement on its website, the Council says the use of the land for airport user vehicle parking is considered inappropriate development within the Green Belt.
