Motorists are being urged to check “meet and greet” companies offering parking services at Gatwick Airport before handing over their keys before their holidays.

It’s as Sussex Police and West Sussex Trading Standards have received reports of customers who are disappointed with the service offered.

Some customers have reported damage to vehicles, with some being returned dirty or with more mileage on the clock.
Not all companies listed are affiliated to the airport, even if the business includes ‘Gatwick Airport’ in its name or if their website looks like it is linked to the company.

The advice is, passengers should check that these firms have a good reputation on Trustpilot, Trip Advisor or by any other reliable means.
