Tandridge District Council has submitted a bid for nearly £9 million pounds worth of funding through the Government’s levelling Up scheme.

If they’re successful, the funding will be invested in both Caterham Valley town centre, as well as Caterham on the Hill.

The council are hoping to improve flood alleviation measures, as well as increasing signage, electric charging points, better lighting and helping shop retailers and restaurants.
