There will be further strikes by the RMT this Thursday 18th August and Saturday 20th August, with knock-on effects to the network on Friday 19th August and Sunday 21st August.

It will mean there will be no service on lines in East Surrey except for a limited and very busy service of four trains per hour through Horley.

GTR’s advice remains to only travel on Thursday and Saturday if it is essential. The first services on Friday and Sunday will run much later than usual and are expected to be very busy.
