Tandridge Borough Council has submitted a bid for nearly £9 million pounds of funding through the government’s Levelling Up Fund to regenerate Caterham.

Amongst other things, the aim is to include flood alleviation measures, a shop front grant scheme and improvements to roads, along with signage and lighting.

If successful, the council say the changes would encourage more people to the area and help boost the local economy.
