A pedestrian was taken to hospital on Thursday night after being hit by a car on the A23 Brighton Road in Horley. 

Police were called to the location between the Texaco roundabout and the Air Balloon pub following reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a silver VW Passat. 

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision.
