Returning for the fifth year, the date for 2023’s Surrey Day has been announced as Saturday 13th May. 

The annual celebration of life in Surrey is organised by radio colleagues at BBC Radio Surrey, and Visit Surrey, the county’s tourism board, with support from Lord Lieutenant, Michael More Molyneux. 

One of this year’s themes will be the celebration of Surrey’s rivers, lakes and waterways.

In previous years the event has been supported by well known residents such as Dame Judi Dench and Sir Brian May.  Anyone who would like to get involved should email surreyday@bbc.co.uk.
