Tandridge District Council is taking steps to prosecute the occupants of the unauthorised encampment set up on a field off Tanhouse Road in Oxted.

Back in December several caravans moved onto the site, where drainage work and hard surfacing was soon installed.

The Council served several enforcement notices to prevent further development and for the occupants to leave.

Because no-one has yet left the site, the Council are taking steps to prosecute the occupants for not complying with the notices given to them.
