Surrey Strategy To Tackle Violence Against Women And Girls

A new countywide partnership strategy has been agreed to tackle Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) in Surrey.

Work will begin on a three-year action plan with partners across Surrey to ensure a collective joined-up approach.  Key partners include communities, police, education and health.

The Surrey strategy will focus on all crime types known to disproportionately affect women and girls such as domestic abuse, sexual offences and ‘honour’ based abuse.
