East Surrey College has been awarded a share of over two and a half million pounds worth of funding from the Department for Education’s Strategic Development Fund.

 The money will be used to invest in new green and digital technologies, which will help improve links with local businesses to develop and enhance their green skills.

 As awareness grows of the urgent need to protect the environment, green careers are becoming increasingly popular.

The College is collaborating with other educational establishments across Surrey to support growth in green industries, specifically linked to construction, electric and hybrid vehicles.
