The new season began on Saturday for our local teams.  In League 2, Crawley Town got off to a good start with a 1-0 home win over Bradford City.

Dorking Wanderers lost their first National League match of the season, 4-3 away to Chesterfield.

It was good news for our local te07ams in their FA Cup Qualifying round ties; Redhill, Horley Town, Merstham and East Grinstead Town are all through to the next round.  Three Bridges drew 2-2 at home to Crawley Down Gatwick so there will be a replay tomorrow night.
