Police are asking for witnesses to come forward, after a child suffered serious injuries following a collision in Horley last Friday.

Officer were called to Smallfield Road around 5:50pm after an incident near the Kings Head pub between the driver of a car and the child, who was on foot.

The child was taken to hospital.

Anyone who saw what happened are urged to contct Surrey Police.
