Police in Crawley have been reaping the benefits within its first week of a new community engagement pod in the High Street. 

Officers in the town centre have so far made arrests relating to suspected thefts, possession of class A drugs, and grievous bodily harm.  A total of 13 people were stopped and searched where drugs have been seized in the town centre.

The pod is staffed by officers, PSCOs and partners from the council, and acts as a focal point for people in need of help in the High Street and surrounding area.
