A multi-million pound outline design has been agreed by the cabinet at Crawley council for the Station Gateway public realm and bus station improvements.
The design is aimed at bringing improvements to the bus station and along the Martletts, which links County mall to Queens Square.
Over £7 million pounds from the Crawley Growth Programme and Towns Fund has been secured for the investment, which will include better pedestrian and cycle access, along with seating and landscaping.
The Cabinet will ask all members of the council at a meeting on 13th December to approve the financial plan, which will be followed by three weeks of public consultation, planned to start on 14th January.
