Crawley Borough Council have now approved their budget for the forthcoming year.
This includes a rise in council tax of just under three percent which equates to a £6.76 annual increase for a band D property.
Anyone who is renting in a managed property will see an increase of 7.7% that will be reflected in their service charges.
The council says they will take around one point zero seven million pounds from their reserves to maintain a balanced budget, which includes a projected figure of just over five million to provide temporary accommodation for people made homeless.
