Wednesday 13th March marks Young Carers Action Day for 2024.

The annual event is organised each year by the Carers Trust, with other carers organisations across the UK taking part.

This year’s focus in ensuring fair futures which includes over 14,000 young carers in Surrey.

A recent study showed one in three young carers struggle to balance caring with education, which can have a big impact on school, university and jobs or apprenticeships.
