A Sussex man has met up with the same paramedics who helped saved his life twelve months ago to say thank you.
67-year-old David Mortimer was having a cardiac arrest at the Three Bridges Tesco Petrol Station.
A student nurse and Met Police officer who were both off duty at the time called 999 and started CPR.
The pair stabilised him ahead of the arrival of paramedics who took over.
Mr Mortimer said he would forever be grateful for everything everyone did to save his life.
