Two teenagers have been arrested following an incident at Northgate Playing Field in Crawley. 

Police attended the scene following reports of shots being fired although no injuries were found.  The incident occurred in the early hours of yesterday morning.  A knife was recovered in North Close and two suspects were located at an address in the same road. An 18 year old man from London and a 14 year old boy from Kent were arrested on suspicion of possession of a knife in public.  The 18 year old was also arrested for supplying Class A drugs.

Police are treating it as an isolated incident with no threat to the wider community.
