Seven Crawley community groups have received over £46,000 in grants from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
The fund aims to increase opportunities between those in the most and least deprived areas in Crawley.
The money will be used to provide support to projects that boost productivity, pay, jobs and living standards.
Crawley Borough Council has managed to secure £1 million from the UKSPF over three years to be spent in Bewbush, Broadfield and West Green.
