A further 34 hydrogen powered buses are set to operate across Surrey.
The buses have a range of up to 600 miles and don’t produce any emissions.
Routes that they will use include Horley, Gatwick airport, Crawley, Redhill, Merstham and Reigate.
The new buses will join a fleet of 20 other hydrogen powered vehicles which were introduced to the area last year.
Surrey County Council has invested £16m in the buses, which are operated by Metrobus and are built in the UK.
