An auction in Redhill has raised more than £6,000 for St. John’s Church.

Parishioners are trying to raise £2 million to pay for a new building next to the Church which will be used for church-related activities and community work. So far, the total is just over half-a-million.

The auction held at the weekend saw people donate 150 lots of fine arts, antiques, collectibles and promises such as weeklong family holidays in Devon and France.
