Crawley District Commander ‘not complacent’

The new district commander for Crawley says he is ‘not complacent’ when tackling burglaries.

Chief Inspector Dave Padwick took over in August. He is determined to continue the falling trend in break-ins throughout the town.

Crawley has seen a drop of 50 burglary victims this year compared to the same period in 2014.

Increased patrols in Southgate and Broadfield have so far made three arrests with those on bail pending further enquiries.
