A Crawley man has been arrested following an attack in Tilgate last Wednesday afternoon (October 28).

Jason Halliday was charged with attempted murder after allegedly attacking a man at a house in Ross Close.

The victim, a 51-year-old man, was taken to East Surrey Hospital.

Halliday appeared at Crawley Magistrates Court on Friday and has been remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on November 13.
