Around 50 people are set to lose their jobs after one of Crawley’s largest car dealerships is to curtail some of its operations.

Crawley Down Group have confirmed the need to close its car sales, service and parts operations. The business holds the local franchises for Fiat, Seat and Skoda.

Rising operational costs and highly competitive prices have been linked to the reduction in profit margins.

Airport Parking and Hotels; the 24-hour Shell garage at Snow Hill and the accident repair centre in Crawley which are all part of the Group will continue to operate as normal.
