The Springboard Project, a local charity providing play and leisure opportunities for children and teenagers with disabilities, has a new lift installation at its base in Langley Green. The Springboard Project was awarded grants from the Big Society Fund and a charitable trust.
A new extension was built to house the lift and was decorated by local volunteers to keep the costs down.
The wheelchair-friendly lift will allow children with mobility problems to access the upper areas of the building including the art room.
Both the Crawley and Horsham centres open as drop-in centres for families to take their children and enjoy the play facilities.
