Young performers have the chance to shine in this year’s Star for a Night Show in Redhill.

Open auditions for singers, dancers and actors take place on the sixth and seventh of February at The Harlequin Theatre in the town centre.

As long as you’re aged 11 to 18, you’re welcome to take part.

To audition, you should fill in an application form, signed by parent or carer, prepare a short piece, and turn up. You can even bring CD or ipod for backing if you wish.

The finals take place on the 7th and 8th of April at the Harlequin Theatre. Tickets are on sale from the theatre box office and website.

The prize is a one year scholarship to So You Wanna Be Theatre School or to Urban Play street dance classes.
