You can enjoy a day of English music, dance, and workshops to celebrate our nation’s patron saint in Queens Square Crawley on Saturday 23 April from 11am-3pm.

The St George’s Day festivities will host many varied acts and will include a talk about St George, a dragon hat making workshop, Punch and Judy and face painting.

Metrobus will also have a bus on display with fun activities.

The event’s for all ages and the decorations will stay up in the square for the Scouts annual St George’s Day Parade, which takes place the following day.

On a sad note, the celebrations will signal the last time that the bandstand is used in the square before work starts on the redevelopment.
