A Bollywood film which will be released worldwide on Friday, features a scene filmed at Mayfield Lavender Farm in Banstead. The film called “Azhar”, is about the former Indian cricket captain Mohammed Azharuddin. The scene was filmed last August after an Indian film producer contacted the owner.

The romantic scene features actor Emraan Hashmi with his co star Nargis Fakhri as they cycle through the lavender fields.

As Mayfield Lavender Farm celebrates its tenth anniversary this summer, owner Lorna Maye told Annie Whitmore about the day that Bollywood came to Banstead.
