A Redhill woman is raising money for a memorial to a young soldier who died in a car crash.

Fundraiser Mandy Jenkins said the money would pay for a bench and a rugby trophy to honour Coldstream Guard, Ben Regan.

Ben Regan died in Bell Street, Reigate in June 2015.

Mandy Jenkins said the rest of the money raised would go towards helping fund a veterans’ drop-in centre once a month in Merstham.
