A Man has been left in hospital following an assault at Lingfield Racecourse.

The incident happened between 8pm – 8.30pm on June 18. A group of men got into a fight at the racecourse. A man in his 30s obtained a suspected fractured eye socket and was taken to East Surrey Hospital.

A 24 and a 21-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of GBH and have been released on bail until Tuesday 9 August.
