Gatwick staff who assist disabled passengers are to be balloted over strike action in a dispute about pay.

The Unite union says most workers are paid £7.65 per hour, which it says is ‘Poverty Pay’.

However, the employer, OCS Group UK’s offer of a 5p increase per hour has been rejected.

The voting period begins on Thursday and finishes on the 9th March.
