Two men have been charged with the murder of a Crawley man in June last year.

Sam Caufield was stabbed in the abdomen in Spencers Road at around 3 am on a Saturday and died later in the Royal Sussex Hospital in Brighton.

Unemployed 21-year-old John Mitchell and Macauley Lawless also 21 and unemployed, are charged with the murder and perverting the cause of justice.  

A provisional trial date has been set for the 3rd week in September.
