Tandridge District Council is urging residents to make sure they are registered in time to vote in the general election.  

The deadline to register to vote is midnight on Monday.  Anyone not registered to vote at their current address can register online at gov.uk/registertovote.  

Those who cannot vote in person on 8th June can apply for a postal or proxy vote.  The deadline to apply to vote by post is 5pm on Tuesday 23rd May.  The deadline for proxy voting, where you can nominate someone to cast your vote for you, is 5pm on Wednesday 31st May.
