RMT boss, Mick Cash has called Aslef’s refusal to work overtime on Southern lines from the end of May as a “hugely significant development”.
In response, he’s called for “tripartite talks” in the long-running dispute over driver-only-operated trains.
The train operator says passengers will suffer just as services are improving, accusing union leadership of designing action so as to impact as many people as possible.
RMT members will walk out for 24-hours on the 30th May.
