Eleven students have successfully graduated from a FireBreak course at Crawley Fire Station.
The young people between the ages of 12 and 14 were selected from their schools to take part in the course. They can be selected for a variety of reasons such as boosting their self-esteem and to help them become positive role models within their local communities.
During the week, they took part in ladder and hose drills, wore breathing apparatus and got a qualification in HeartStart first aid training.
