An investigation is underway after a rise in residential burglaries throughout West Sussex.
Since the middle of May, police have so far recorded 15 such cases which they believe are linked, including the Horsham and Crawley areas.
A variety of property including jewellery, cash, passports and electrical items has been taken.
Detectives believe the offenders are from outside the county. Reports suggests the offenders appear ‘out of place’ when driving slowly in residential streets, parking and walking around looking at houses.
Police are asking people to continue reporting anything suspicious.
