There were around 1,000 more crimes committed in August in Sussex, compared to previous years.

It has gone up from an average of 12,700 in August 2014 to 2016 to almost 14,000 this August

Figures show violence has increased the most, while weapon incidents have almost doubled over the 3 year period.
