A man has died after being stabbed near a children’s playground in Crawley.

The victim in his 60s was attacked on Cherry Lane yesterday morning.

He was treated by paramedics at the scene but pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

A 22-year-old man is in custody after being arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
