The cab company, Uber, will be vacating Horley High Street car park.

In a statement, Reigate and Banstead Borough Council says Uber’s contract with them to use spaces in the car park has been terminated.  The company will be vacating the car park by 15th December when it will be returned to full public use.

The Council has been in discussion with Uber regarding the company securing new waiting arrangements outside of the borough for their partner-drivers awaiting Gatwick fares.  

Car park markings and signs will be updated.
