The European election results in the Reigate and Banstead, and Tandridge areas followed the national trend.
The Brexit Party led both areas with 35.6% of the votes in Reigate and Banstead, and 38.7% in Tandridge. The Liberal Democrats came second in both areas. The Greens were third in Reigate and Banstead. The Conservatives were third in Tandridge just marginally ahead of the Greens in fourth place.
In Crawley The Brexit Party again won the majority with 37.7% of the vote. Labour was in second place in Crawley with 18.8% with the Liberal Democrats in third place.
These votes were reported to the Regional Returns Officer for the South East Region based in Southampton who verified and tallied the votes. The combined results for the South East meant that the Brexit Party won four European parliamentary seats for the region. The Liberal Democrats won three seats, while the Conservatives, Labour and the Greens have one MEP each.
