An airAlert service which gives information about air pollution levels is now available in Surrey.
The service is already established for Sussex and is run by King’s College London on behalf of the Sussex Air Quality Partnership.
A voice or text message is sent direct to registered users to let them know when poor air quality is predicted in their area. It is targeted at people with respiratory health problems and heart conditions who may be affected by air pollution.
You can register for airAlert for free by downloading the app or completing the online form. There’s more information at airalert.info/surrey.
