Police have confirmed the death of a person who was hit by a train yesterday morning.

Blocked lines including Gatwick Airport caused major disruption for commuters until the afternoon.

Officers at present are working to identify the victim who was pronounced dead at the scene at Anerley Station. The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
