A Sussex police sergeant has been given a final warning after he was found to have breached standards of professional behaviour.

43 year old, Gary Jacobs, who is based at Crawley, appeared at a misconduct hearing on Tuesday. 

He was accused of dangling  a pizza containing pepperoni over a Jewish colleague’s kosher meal. A piece subsequently dropped on to that officer’s meal.

The panel, found the allegation proven and he was given a final written warning.
